Debby Oxley's FEELING FUNNY (American Pharoah) was well meant when entered in a five-furlong turf test at the Hallandale oval Dec. 22, however, failed to get the job done after the race came off the turf and had to settle for third as the 6-5 favorite. The $875,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga grad has been training sharply at Palm Meadows for Mark Casse since then, including a four-furlong move there in a bullet :47.10 Jan. 5. Out of stakes winning Funny Feeling (Distorted Humor), she is a granddaughter of Grade I winner Hookedonthefeelin (Citidancer). TJCIS PPs

Bolton, Hoyeau and Lipman et al's NADAL (Blame&log=#tot">Blame) holds court in this seven-horse affair. The $700,000 purchase at the Fasig-Tipton Florida sale last March, who was the top priced juvenile by his sire in 2019, has been working forwardly toward this debut, including a sharp five-furlong move in 1:00 3/5 at Santa Anita Jan. 13. Trained by Bob Baffert, the bay is out of Ascending Angel (Pulpit), who hails from the family of champion juvenile filly Pleasant Stage. Also making his career bow is Spendthrift Farm LLC's LANE WAY (Into Mischief), a $550,000 OBSMAR graduate. Trained by Richard Mandella, the bay will be accompanied by Flavien Prat. TJCIS PPs
